Colonel Donnie Holloway joined the NWC faculty at the conclusion of his tour as the senior advisor to an Afghan Army Corps Commander while deployed to Helmand province and Kabul, Afghanistan.

Colonel Holloway is a 1993 honors graduate from the Virginia Military Institute where he earned a B.A. in History.  He holds five master degrees to include an M.A. from George Washington University, Master of National Security from the U.S. Naval War College, Master of Operational Art from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies at Air University and Master of Public Administration from the University of Wyoming. He is a master space and missile operations officer and commanded an operational ICBM squadron and operations group.  He served on the HQ Air Force staff working for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force in the “CHECKMATE” Strategic Studies Group.  He was an Air Force Intern in the Joint Staff J-5 during the Kosovo Air Campaign.
