Colonel Eric “Mo” Moritz joined the NWC as the CSAF Chair and military faculty in July 2015. He recently served as the Commander, 405th Air Expeditionary Group at Thumrait Air Base, Oman.  Colonel Moritz received his commission through the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1992. He is 2004 graduate of the Advanced Study of Air Mobility and a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Naval War College class of 2014. Col. Moritz was a member of the Joint Staff, J-3, Global Force Management Division.  There, he served as an Operations Officer, advising the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on the use and integration of air, land and maritime military forces in support of national security and national military objectives.  Col Moritz has over 3,900 flight hours in the C-17, C-141 and C-21 and has deployed numerous times to Southwest Asia in support of Operations Inherent Resolve, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Southern Watch.
