Faculty Seminar Leader

Colonel Timothy Burke joined the NWC as a member of the military faculty in July of 2017.  He recently served as the Commander, 18th Maintenance Group, 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa Japan.  Colonel Burke was a Distinguished Graduate and received his commission through Texas A&M University in 1994.  He is also a graduate of the National War College Class of 2013.  Colonel Burke was a member of the Joint Staff, J-4, as the Maintenance Division Chief, advising the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on the health and logistical sustainment of ground, maritime, and air assets across the Department of Defense. Burke has deployed multiple times to Southwest Asia in support of air operations. Col Burke has command experience at the Group, and Squadron levels as well as maintaining the F-22, F-15E, F-15, F-16, HH-60, KC-135, E-3, MQ-1 and MQ-9 aircraft.
