Col Maureen Trujillo – USAF

Colonel Maureen Trujillo, USAF, joined the NWC as military faculty in July 2023. She recently served as the Branch Chief for Congressional Engagements and Hearings in the Secretary of the Air Force Legislative Liaison Directorate preparing the Secretary of the Air Force, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and Chief of Space Operations for their activities with Congress.

Colonel Trujillo’s previous staff assignments include Chief of the Actions Division within the Joint Staff’s Executive Secretariat and Senior Air Traffic Control Advisor to the Iraqi Air Force. She commanded the 375th Operations Support Squadron at Scott AFB, Illinois, and is a career Airfield Operations Officer with Contingency Response expertise. Colonel Trujillo received her commission through the University of New Mexico Air Force ROTC in 2002. She graduated from the Army’s Command General Staff College and was a National Defense Fellow at the Library of Congress and the Congressional Research Service.
