COL Eric Bjorklund – USA

Colonel Eric Bjorklund joined the National War College faculty in 2023 following a tour as the Chief of Operations, Plans, and Strategy for the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology). As an Army Strategist, he has served in various staff roles in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Army Cyber Command, and Multi-National Force-Iraq. He previously taught international relations and East Asian politics at the U.S. Military Academy and national security and cyberspace studies at NDU’s College of Information and Cyberspace. Colonel Bjorklund has Masters degrees from The Fletcher School, Tufts University, the College of Information and Cyberspace and the National War College. He received his commission in 1997 as an Armor Officer from the U.S. Military Academy and has previous tours throughout the U.S., the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, and Iraq.
