Captain Frank Brandon attended the United States Naval Academy receiving his commission in 1995. As a career Surface Warfare Officer, he has extensive Sea Control, Integrated Carrier Strike Group Operations, Ballistic Missile Defense and Counter-Piracy experience. He has deployed all over the world to include 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th fleets. CAPT Brandon has served in multiple roles onboard ships during his career to include Commanding Officer of USS MITSCHER and Commodore of Destroyer Squadron TWO SIX embarked on the aircraft carrier USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH. CAPT Brandon is also a nuclear trained officer completing his tour as the Reactor Officer onboard the aircraft carrier USS EISENHOWER. Additionally, he was an Associate Professor at the University of San Diego where he taught and earned his master’s degree in international relations. As a fully Joint Qualified Officer, he completed his joint tour as the Mexico Theater Security Cooperation Branch Chief at U.S. Northern Command.
