Ms. Katherine Mathis joined the NWC in the spring of 2024 as a research intern. She is a junior at Hamilton College, where she is a World Politics major with a focus in International Security and a History minor. She has completed coursework in Terrorism, Counterterrorism, Intelligence Analysis, Military History, International Politics, and Nuclear Politics. She studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she took part in the DIS politics and security studies program.
Ms. Mathis has previous work experience as an intern for the Center on National Security at Fordham Law, and the cyber security company BluVector. She was also a research assistant for the Stanton Foundation grant-funded course, Nuclear Politics. At college, Ms. Mathis is a Dean’s List student, an orientation leader, and her sorority’s historian.
