Colonel Rob “Grimdog” Grimmett, USAF, joined the NWC as military faculty in July 2024. He recently served as the Commander of the 87th Mission Support Group, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Colonel Grimmett enlisted in the Air Force as an Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Operator in 1986 and earned his commission through Officer’s Training School in 2002. He has served as an Airfield Operations Officer in a variety of positions at the unit, Major Command staff, Air Staff, and Combatant Command staff level. Colonel Grimmett holds three Master's degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (2011), Naval War College (2015), and Eisenhower School for National Resource Strategy (2020).
