Ms. Hollister May joined the National War College in the summer of 2025 as a research intern. She is an incoming second year participating in the University of St Andrews (Scotland) and the College of William and Mary Joint Degree Program majoring in international relations. Her research interests center on espionage, cyber terrorism and war games, and regional stability in Latin America. At St Andrews, Hollister has refined her analytical and writing skills through her roles as an Editor-in-Training and Researcher at the Political Institute of Action Research. She recently co-authored a paper examining political trends in Scotland compared to broader developments across the United Kingdom. Motivated by a desire to deepen her understanding of global security issues, Hollister pursued her internship at the NWC to liaise alongside experts and connect with international fellows in the field of national security. Her global perspective is further enriched by her participation in the Sciences Po Pre-College Program in the summer of 2023, where she studied contemporary international affairs in a cross-cultural context. Outside of academics, Hollister enjoys traveling, learning new languages, and exploring marine life.
