Ms. Emily Li joined the National War College in the Spring of 2026 as a research intern. She is a Sophomore at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, studying International Politics with a concentration in International Security and minoring in Diplomatic Studies and Theology. Emily's areas of interests include nuclear diplomacy, wargaming, and U.S.-China strategic competition. On campus, she is on the School of Foreign Service Academic Council and works for the School of Continuing Studies on International Relations summer seminars. At the NWC, she is excited to further develop her research skills and learn from all of the institution’s distinguished faculty. Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Emily enjoys classical arts, playing club water polo, and spending time with friends, family, and her Doberman and Shiba Inu.
