Mr. Christopher D. Landry joined the National War College in the spring of 2026 as a research intern afforded through the Texas A&M University Public Policy Scholar’s Program. Chris is a senior at Texas A&M University – Central Texas where he is majoring in Business Administration with minors in Military and Political Science. Chris was a Combat Medic in the Army for over 10 years and completed two deployments to the CENTCOM area of responsibility as a medical advisor to American foreign partner forces. At the rank of Sergeant First Class, Chris returned to school to finish his bachelor’s degree and will commission this May as a Second Lieutenant in the Army’s Medical Services branch. Outside of academics and his professional career, Chris is a father to a little girl and a rodeo athlete with a passion for bull riding. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors, in the gym, or with family. Mr. Landry's long term career goal is to retire from the Army, pick up a second career as a hospital administrator, and remain involved with the rodeo industry as a stock contractor.
