Colonel Verbik joined the National War College as a student in August 2025 and transitioned to an instructor June 2026. Col Verbik is both a Force Foreign Area Officer and Force Support Officer with 22 years of service.
As a Foreign Area Officer, Col Verbik has served in European regional and policy assignments at NATO Air Command, Air Forces Europe, European Command, and for the Deputy Undersecretariat of the Air Force for International Affairs. As a Force support Officer, she served in various positions at the base level and commanded the 82d Force Support Squadron, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Col Verbik deployed in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations
Col Verbik holds an Associate of Arts degree in Turkish Language from the Defense Language Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and four master’s degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School, Air University, National War College, and Trident University.
