Colonel Dennis Atkins, USA joined the NWC as a member of the military faculty in July 2018. He recently served as the Deputy Commander, National Training Center Operations Group, Fort Irwin, California. Colonel Atkins was a Distinguished Military Graduate and received his commission through the ROTC program at West Virginia University in 1995. He has served in a variety of command and staff assignments as well as combat tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom (2006) and Operation Enduring Freedom (2011). Colonel Atkins is a graduate of the National War College class of 2017 and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Norwich University.
